Raw Walnut Taco Salad Wrap...Things!


I honestly don't care what you call them, they are DAMN GOOD.

These are raw vegan.

Meaning no dead animals up n this bitch, and nothing was cooked to whip it up.

Raw, wholesome, lively food!

Here's How:

Step 1-"Taco Meat"

Use 1 cup of raw plain ass walnuts.

2-3TBS of Olive Oil

Spice it up with smoked paprika, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and cracked pepper.

If you're terribly lazy or don't want to purchase 7 different spices to use then I suggest the taco seasoning packet from TJ's...but only use 1 TBP. It's salty.

Step 2: Place all of step 1 ingredients into a food processor or nutri-bullet/ blender and lightly pulse until the walnuts become texturized.

I like mine still a little crunchy, if you prefer moosh, add a little water.

Step 3: Cashew Nacho Cheese Amazing-ness.

Soak 1/2 cup raw plain ass cashews over night in water for 6-8 hours or soak them in boiling water for 1 hour.

Strain most of the water out when you're ready to get saucy.

Flavor blast the cashews with some salt, 1 tbs nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, cumin, and some red pepper flakes.

I do not recommend using the same taco seasoning with this but...do you.

Step 4: Place all ingredients from step 3 into a blender and blend until you get a smooth and creamy texture. You might have to keep adding a bit of water to get the right consistency, but I'm confident you will figure it out.

If you want to keep this dish raw, keep it raw! Use lettuce as a taco shell (or wrap) and add whatever veggies you want on it! I use avocado and grape tomatoes. You can also use corn tortillas or whatever your heart desires.

This is a SUPER filling meal and had tons of healthy fats, little carbs, and tons of protein.
