These chick pea croutons are so easy and delicious to put on top of salads or mix in with any veggie sauté!
They even work for an on-the-go protein boost snack, too.
1 can of organic chickpeas
2 TBSP of olive oil or avocado oil
Spices! I used garlic & onion powder, chili powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
Heat your oven to 300Degrees F!
In a bowl placed (rinsed) chickpeas and your oil of choice. Mix until all the lil peas are covered in the oil and then add your spices. I never measure anything really so just eyeball it, I'm not one for numbers. Once they are all mixed and covered evenly place on a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour.
Once done let them cool a little bit and wah-la! They're good to go :)
